Shortlisting Criteria:

  1. Candidates must meet the benchmark scores: a minimum aggregate of 60% each in Class X (English plus best 4 subjects) and Class XII (English plus best 3 subjects), and 60% in the Bachelor’s degree (general). (Note: These criteria do not apply to candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.)
  2. For positions with more than 20 eligible applicants, merit ranking will be based on aggregate marks calculated from academic performance as follows: 15% from Class X, 25% from Class XII, and 60% from the Bachelor’s degree.
  3. Additionally, candidates are awarded bonus points for relevant professional experience: 5 points for 5 to 10 years, and 10 points for more than 10 years. Relevant experience will only be considered for shortlisting purposes.
  4. Candidates with incomplete documents or information will not be considered for shortlisting.

Important Notes:

  1. All shortlisted candidates must appear for a written examination. Candidates are required to bring their original Citizenship Identity Card and any other items needed for the examination.
  2. The written examination consists of one paper with four sections: English, Dzongkha, Basic Math and Aptitude, and Job-related questions.
  3. Candidates must score 50% or higher in the written examination to qualify.
  4. Scores obtained in the written examination will be used only for shortlisting and will not carry weight in the final selection, which will be based on a VIVA VOCE interview.
  5. The written examination will be held on 5th September 2025 at the College of Science and Technology, Richending, Phuentsholing.

Additionally, if you are currently employed and have not submitted your No Objection Certificate and Audit Clearance Certificate, please bring those as well, or you will not be permitted to attend the interview.
