The first technology-based business idea competition was held in the college from 18-20th December this year. The event was the first of its kind being organized by the college on its own. The competition was designed to discover business opportunities for science and technological aspiring entrepreneurs in the College. The ideology was centered on action, innovation, and education, and community building.
The event was funded by the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources. Due to the pandemic, some students were sent home, hence to accommodate the participation from those students as well the event was held both in-person and online. A total of 69 students registered to participate in the event, 35 students participated offline (in person) and 34 participated online. There were 44 idea pitches made from the 69 participants and the top 13 were selected by a panel of judges.
The event was a 3-day event with a workshop on the entrepreneurial eco system given by Mr. Vijay Gurung, CEO, iDruk solutions on the first day. The next two days included the pitching session and team work. The final presentation was made in the evening of the final day. The winners of the event was:

5th – House Search Application
