The College of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Karuna Foundation and Bhutan Foundation, is organizing a three-day conference on Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development and Design on April 3-5, 2017 at the Convention Hall, Royal University of Bhutan, Motithang, Thimphu.
The Conference is being organized with the aim to bring together academicians, researchers, engineers and students from different parts of the world to share their research ideas and findings which would further help in promoting a research culture at the Royal University of Bhutan. Experts from USA, Netherlands, Spain, Japan, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan will present papers and engage in discussions on themes such as sustainable development, solar thermal energy, green marketing, biomass electrification, biogas, societal benefits of efficiency, energy-efficient construction and design, case study on high pperformance building in Bhutan among a host of others.
