Online Freelancing Awareness Program

Entrepreneurship Promotion Division (ESED), Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Labour and Human Resources conducted a freelancing awareness program from 26-28th April 2022 at the College of Science and Technology.

Through this training, the ESED division wants to raise awareness of micro-works & online freelancing. The participants would be introduced to different online portals and this platform to promote freelancing as a potential solution to tackle unemployment. Following are the specific objectives of the Micro works & Online Freelancing program;

  1. Create awareness of the online freelancing scope for the college students
  2. Empower the participants with the knowledge and skills to become active online Freelancers.
  3. Promote self-employment through an online freelancing program.
