On 17 September 2025, Dr. Cheki Dorji, President of the College of Science and Technology, was honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ by the Mrs. Shashikanta Memorial Foundation. The award was presented by Prof. Agarwal on behalf of the foundation, recognizing Dr. Dorji’s decades of exemplary service in education, research, community development, and youth empowerment.
During the ceremony, Dr. Dorji shared an inspiring message for young engineers, urging them to pursue innovation, apply their knowledge responsibly, and contribute to Bhutan’s sustainable development. He also emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, collaboration, and using skills to address the nation’s challenges.
