Funded by Eramus+ Programme

This is the Capacity Building Higher Education project of the Erasmus+ Programme funded by the European Union. The project was awarded a total grant of 876,206 Euro (Eight hundred seventy six thousand two hundreds and six only) through the open competitive application call under the Erasmus+ Key Action 2 and has a duration of 3 years from 14th January 2021 to 14th January 2024. The aims of the project to create learning and practising opportunities for partner country HEIs staff including administrative staff, faculty, students and researchers. The training is focused on learning from EU partners and developing procedures to modernize the education system. This project will contribute effectively to creating reforms in the overall higher education system of the partner HEIs.

This project is implemented by the consortium of 11 partner academic institutions that includes two from European countries and the rest from Asian countries. The following are members of the consortium.

Among the partner universities, the Capital University of Science & Technology, Pakistan will act the role of the Project Coordnator.
The Royal University of Bhutan has joined the consortium for buiding its capacity on Academic Programme Accreditation System and Internationalization. As enshinred in the vision and the strategic plan, the RUB inspires to have its programmes internationally recognized. The two engineering programms namely Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology of its College of Science & Technology has been identified for developing the accreditation documents through support of the SSAPI project.
