About Admission
STUDENT WITHOUT CID ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION
For Architect programme:
Class XII pass with pass students with a minimum of 50% each in Physics, Chemistry, Math, English and pass in Dzongkha. An aptitude test will be administered. Students will have to achieve a minimum of 50% in the test to be eligible for the programme.
Ability Ratings: Math (5), Physics (5), Chemistry (2), English (3) and Aptitude Test
For Engineering Programmes [Civil, Electrical, ECE, ICE, Engineering Geology, Mechanical, IT and Water Resource Engineering]:
Class XII pass with pass students with a minimum of 50% each in Physics, Chemistry, Math, English and pass in Dzongkha. A CTC test will be administered.
Ability Ratings: Math (5), Physics (5), Chemistry (4), English (3) and one other subject (1)
For Software Engineering Programme [SELF FUNDING - No Government scholarship will be provided]:
Class XII pass with pass students with a minimum of 50% each in Mathematics/ Business Mathematics and English and pass in Dzongkha. A CTC test will be administered.
Ability Ratings: Mathematics/B. Maths (5), English (5) and any 3 other subjects (1)
Programmes
For the current academic (2024) admission the College offers the following four-year undergraduate engineering programme and a five-year programme in Architecture.
Requirements for admission to RUB Programmes:
All eligible students seeking admission will have to produce the following documents:
a. Citizenship Identity Card
b. Class 12 Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
